Lately, a certain portion of society has gotten fed up with a certain older portion of society who thinks they’re entitled to literally everything they want when they want, and that they’re allowed to berate the person in front of them if they don’t get it.

You know who I’m talking about, and what specific name they tend to be labelled as online, right?

Well, people with that name (and people who resemble that name) are up in arms about being called what they consider offensive and honestly akin to a slur that should be unacceptable in polite society.

These 25 people have some thoughts on whether or not that’s actually a thing, and they’re pretty darn amusing if nothing else.

20. I’ve got time.

And obviously I think the answer is yes.

19. Because woman hating might not look like you think it does.

It’s called American history, y’all. Maybe look into it.

18. We’re not quite sure we heard you right, that’s all.

Just making sure you heard our response loud and clear.

17. And that’s the truth.

Even they don’t want to be associated with that name.

16. This made me snicker.

I am officially dead.

15. And I don’t see anything wrong with that.

Hope this helps.

14. That’s about the size of it.

We’re all going to pout for sure.

13. Bullhorn and everything.

If you shout it out loud enough maybe someone will listen.

12. Accurate.

No one has any to share, I promise you that.

11. Just a little truth bomb to get us started.

Take a few sips of your latte to help this go down easier.

10. It’s all pretty funny, to be honest.

Except it’s not really funny at all.

9. Definitely just proving the point.

They don’t get the irony, so don’t bother explaining it.

8. It’s pretty mild, all things considered.

If only you had to live as a person of color for one single day.

7. So accurate it’s painful.

It would be funny if it wasn’t so dang true.

6. Where do I sign?

We should spread the name love.

5. You keep using that word…I do not think it means what you think it means?

I’d rather think that than think they actually think it’s a slur.

4. Seriously, just imagine.

You don’t have to because that’s the world we live in.

3. One instance when I’m not mad about the term “actually…”

There are exceptions to every rule.

2. Short, sweet, and to the point.

You can’t just call something a slur.

1. It’s just a little too on the nose.

But what are you gonna do?

You can’t just decide something is offensive to a large group of people when actually going through life being rude is the most offensive thing a person could do.

Sheesh.

Do you agree that we should stop using a certain name as an insult? Tell us why or why not in the comments!
