I’ve got a confession to make: I was today years old when I realized that BBW stands for Big Beautiful Woman. It’s one of those terms I’d heard thrown around a lot, and was vaguely aware it had something to do with body size, but it finally clicked for me as I was going through these posts, and now I’m all about it.
But being a Big Beautiful Woman isn’t always easy, especially when it comes to the strange pressures that come along with relationships. Check out these 14 insights on dating life as a BBW.
14. Chase it
To be fair – is this any different than having any other kind of “type?”
13. Perfect match
It’s good to be adored.
12. Feeling insecure
If he’s with you, he wants to be.
11. Say it out loud
Where do flattery and honesty meet?
10. “Do better”
Smaller isn’t better, it’s just smaller.
9. Social media woes
Seems like the sort of thing he could probably lay off on.
8. Snapped
This probably won’t happen – but if it did it would be a hell of a story.
7. (Happy cry)
Again, how are we using the word “better?”
6. Attraction is attraction
“He just rips my clothes and doesn’t care about anything.”
5. Confidence boost
If only we had the confidence we assume everyone else does.
4. Trade up?
I’d be interested to hear why this is.
3. Winner, winner
Anyone who gives us strength is a jackpot indeed.
2. Got you covered
I know this is blasphemy but WHY CAN’T WOMEN BUY THEIR OWN HOODIES ok sorry I’m done.
1. Big mood
It sucks when you feel so small because you don’t feel small enough.
We’re constantly judging ourselves, and that’s a hard place to be. Remember that while you’re worried about you, everyone else is worried about them.
