We’re all looking for the perfect, amazing getaway, because we totally deserve to relax and feel special once in awhile, right?
Well, if you and 20 of your closest friends are looking to feel not just special, but like actual royalty, you can book a night in this legit castle in Skyforest, California.
Castle in the Forest is a gigantic property near Lake Arrowhead, California, that’s nestled in a deep canyon. The home sleeps more than 20 people, and if you can gather that many folks for your overnight, it’ll only cost you around $130 a night.
If you stink at math (*raises hand*), that works out to $2595 a night if you’re going it alone.
The castle sleeps 22 people, and if you have that many friends, you’ll only have to fork over $118 a night, and some reviews suggest that the hosts are willing to accommodate up to 25 people with enough notice.
This looks like the perfect, secluded, beautiful spot to really relax and unwind. I’m going to have to make some more friends, though, because even if I invited all of mine and their husbands, too, I wouldn’t be able to max the place out.
I do love using Airbnb to stay when I’m going out of town – it makes me feel as if I’m actually staying in a place, not merely visiting the way you feel in a hotel. You’re able to settle into a neighborhood, walk to some local spots, and really get a feel for what it might be like to live somewhere new.
Also, I don’t know about you, but hotel bathrooms really squick me out.
Let me know if you stay in the castle – I want to hear all about it!
